The clouds are currently moving eastwards, clear sky on the west side.

Grey clouds hanging just over the mountain opposite and drizzling. Just checked it’s in for the day by the looks . At least no SNOW yet .

Already had as much rain this month as last month. Note two thirds of last months rain arrived after the bank holiday.

 

Heady height of 17c is predicted for today plus rain showers and possible thunder.

We have rain. Proper, steady, vertical rain!

We had a dribble overnight and a dribble early this morning and they said it would turn into proper rain but then it turned dry and breezy so I was in full Doubting Thomas mode.

It's been raining for 15 mins and should last another 30 according to the radar images so enough to clean the leaves, settle the dust and wet the soil surface.
