Two days in a row now bright, sunny and dry. Out gardening yesterday pruning, hoeing and planting my first lot of bulbs in our gardening wonder what’s on the menu for our volunteering day ? Cuttings I think . Don’t forget a ‘T’ break @AuntyRach .

We lit the log burner for a few nights ago when it was raining but only lit it because the house was feeling a bit damp
Hopefully we won't light it yet because we get enought warm sunlight in the day, inside the house is about 20-21c but feels nippy after the hot days :stirpot:

why is it that inside the house it's feels nippy at 20c but if i've outside and it 15c i feel warm,

15c outside feels nippy to me, give me 20 any day.

Lots of dark clouds around here, been like it since mid morning, looks like heavy rain further east, hope we can miss it.

Wind is a bit lighter than yesterday so with very little sunshine it a bit warmer than yesterday but the truth is its all downhill now weather wise.

I agree we don't need the rain now. We could have done with this rain a few months ago when my runner beans were crying out for rain. Still
                      this is the UK.

@pete & @john558 You might not need the rain but we certainly do. My soil on the Allotments is moist on top but more than 4-5 inches down it's still dry and hard in places.
Dark clouds loomed this afternoon, did we get rain ? Of course NOT, the clouds just rolled by AGAIN.
North London the new dust bowl of England.

For several days it has been in the mid 70f and sunny, cloudy, rainy, sunny....

The nights are mid 50's to 60's. I haven't needed the central heating yet and am thinking of creating a pagan style ritual to celebrate this lovely gift of warming from the climate gods!

Yes @pete the winter shall cometh. Better get this party started.:heehee:

It was a sunny day with a bit of cloud and light winds from the north temp 16c. Now it's light cloud and light winds from the north east temp 13c feels like 13c
The central heating came on this morning, it comes on when it gets cold enough.

Sunny and 13c with a hint of a breeze. Going to 27/28c. One forecast says a tropical storm Sunday/Monday but the other two do not. I am keeping fingers crossed for a yes ... but that's a long way off.
