Whats Your Weather Like 2025

Quite windy out there leaves are still falling from the trees opposite . Possibly 2 days in a row with no rain and no frost. Must make up our last hangingbasket with what we’ve got already and chionodoxa bulbs then that’s it .

 

Watery sun, 7c, Sun and cloud day going to 17c.

 

Wild , wet and windy but right now ,the clouds are breaking up and it's stopped raining.
I think the sun maybe coming out sooner than they forecast...

After a misty, murky and drizzly day yesterday it is dry with sunny peeps today. Possibly drizzle later and light rain tonight.

It’s the darkest part of the year for the next 8 weeks, so any bit of sun is very welcome.

 

Rain overnight/early morning, 6mm. It's bright now, not wall-to-wall sunshine, but some getting through the breaks in the cloud, and a gentle slight breeze. The forecast says showers around lunchtime so I'll have to keep an eye out ready to bring in the washing.

Got to 18c for about an hour this afternoon and a nice, sunny day. Now 17c but still sunny. Supposedly only down to 9/10c tonight ... we'll see.

 

A wet night followed by a very wet day. No gardening then but I have been down to see the new brown chooks twice and check the last of the white ones is fine in the polytunnel.

We have them separated by day till the new ones feel safe in the shed and confident enough to venture out into the pen. The white one can roam about the veg plot between downpours and stay dry in the polytunnel as needed. Lots of conversations going on.

 

The heavy rain lifted around 10am, since then fairly sunny, but this time of the year the sun is so low you rarely notice it unless driving.
10c max but down to 7c already, not sure if to trust the frost free forecast or not overnight.

 

Rained all day, dark skies so didn't really notice when it got night time dark, local rivers are all rising and rain is forecast all week apart from Tuesday, 6 degrees so not really cold as the wind has dropped.

 

Hi,

Rain all last night and all today; it's still raining and a loud crack of thunder a few minutes ago; more rain tomorrow but Tuesday is low chance of rain with 7C and -1C range; low chance of met office getting it right as well. I want to get into the garden without water skis.

As @burnie says; little difference between day and night today it's been so dark.

I have a pal who works in Finland above the arctic circle, they don't see the sun for weeks on end, so mustn't grumble lol.
