-3c clear skies, some snow and nice and cripy under foot

Lots of Fieldfares here, about 70 ish they cleaned up the left overs from the crab apple tree and were looking for more so i put out 20 apples for them, also about 15 black birds as well

 

Lovely bright sunny morning here, we had more snow yesterday evening and it is still covering all the surrounding fields. The sun's sticking around for most of the day but the temperature isn't quite so inviting!!! We have a high of 3 with a very bone chilling -8 tonight.

Woke to see we had some snow.....nothing to boast about though A morning of some rain and sleet but now the sun is out.

 

In the Midlands we were told we would have massive amounts of snow but it seems to have stopped at the southern border. Thankfully. Today is a beautiful sunny day.

 

Dry, sunny and cold with a stiff breeze, snow has virtually gone.

 

Snow has gone for us, but it's sunny and cold.

 

Snow still with us because it's still freezing, though it's tryimg to thaw in places on the lawn where it meets the path which the sun has cleared. the birdbath was solid ice and needed a kettle of water to melt it. The max/min thermometer on the side of the garage facing the sun read 60f.

Wet. Snow. Cold. In fact I have been in all day too.

A brilliant winters day, snow showers all morning , sunny all afternoon I couldn’t ask for more
