3c now so temp has rised by 11 degrees, still snow about and a few less birds this morning

 

This morning was freezing and the brook has frozen in places

 

@JWK - John that's an unusual green winter flower you have there in your first shot.

Mostly cloudy today with a few sunny spells. The temperature is still low so the light snow we had a few days ago hasn't thawed. 3C/37F

What a difference a day makes!! Rain is here, snow has all gone and the temps are on the rise with a high of 11C .

Rain, heavy overnight, clearing now. Looking bright and much warmer; a dry day is forecast

 

Quite warm and sunny, all trace of snow gone.

Could have gone to golf this morning, but stayed up 'til near 4.00 am, watching the Superbowl, which didn't really get going until the third quarter.
Immediately after the game finished, the Patriot's team and backroom staff were all seen wearing T-shirts and hats with their team logo and the word "Champions" on them.

I wonder what the Rams will do with the ones they likely had made. Save them and hope they can use them next year?

 

Snow overnight but it's thawed well in the lovely sunshine we've had all day, 4C/39F.

 

A beautiful winters day here. Bright and fresh. Snow has just about gone and there wasn't a frost this morning.
I went for a walk and the snowdrops in drifts looked amazing, saw signs of crocus budding up too

Yesterday afternoon was lovely almost like spring.
