A nice dry day with blue skies and high thin fast moving Cirrus clouds and some Sunshine. But even with the Sun out the temperature only rose to 57f and stayed there for most of the day. One of the features of this year, to me, is the absence of any gales or high winds, so yet again today there has been very little, if any, breeze. The temperature at the moment is 47f with skies while not absolutely clear at least clearer than they have been, and a pressure reading of 1029mbs.......so pressure is dropping.:coffee::snork:

@pete I think the idea of the fencing is to act as some sort of barrier if any rocks get dislodged and fall down to earth like they do from time to time, plus it hopefully prevents people from trying to scale that cliff face:snorky:

We have low cloud/fog at the moment so have lost the lovely view but I expect it will get better once the day warms up:biggrin:

Yesterday, following the early morning fog, was a beautiful day with bright sunshine and very mild.

This morning it's misty and very overcast but not too cold at 50F. Frost forecast for tonight.

It feels a bit colder today at 11C but the sun is trying to shine through the clouds. There's hardly a breeze though which is a bonus!

Yesterday remained dark, dank and drear but not cold.

At 5 a.m. this morning it was 35F and at 6 a.m. it was 33F. That seems to be going in the wrong direction as it's getting light.

2.4 deg C in my garden at dawn, - 0.5 deg C at my plot a bit later around 7:30 am, so probably an even colder minimum there a bit earlier.

Sun and blue skies all day in Manchester until around 4pm and then it started to cloud over on the journey back to sanity and Home. The top temperature was 51f but. again. it felt colder than that. The skies are still cloudy so it's doubtful whether I'll be using the Observatory tonight:wallbanging::gaah: Anyway, right now, the temperature is 37f with a pressure reading of 1029mbs.:coffee::snorky:
