I think either one or the other did. Can't really remember so it obviously didn't float my boat,

For me, there are lot as I've grown so little before - the whole plant world is my oyster :) Number one has to be Dahlia 'Emory Paul' (I think I've already posted that actually... ) and the tall spire plants I have that didn't flower last year, Acanthus spinosus and Lupinus x russellii 'The Page'. I almost can't believe we could have flowers so spectacular in our back garden. Also, Monarda 'Cambridge Scarlet'. I bought that as a root last year and it only got one flower, I'm expecting more in its second year as it is growing strongly :)

I remember you saying that you weren't overly loved up with S.dolichanthe (heathen :heehee:). The true S.hians (there are many imposters) is hard to find so I was interested to see if you'd found one.

Result! Monarda either likes you and goes rampant or just fades away.

          Hi

          :goodpost:

Apart from my own daylily crosses that I produced and have grown from my own seed for the past two years , it has to be Jelly Dancer, Gnarly Gnome and Lily Munster I snapped the flowering shoot off her last summer by mistake :wallbanging:

The red cowslip that I bought back from Shineyland last May. It's full of buds that are showing the scarlet strips now and, if only the sun would warm us up, should be out this weekend. ...:dancy:
piccie to follow in due course,

All my new roses and the delphiniums which were too small to flower last year, along with pretty much anything I have grown from seed- from humble white wallflowers to pom Pom dahlias. So quite a lot really!
