    Looking for suggestions please.
I have a huge garden of over an acre. Consequently there is always loads of plants to prune. I would not say the pruning is fancy, just not quite hacking back but not intricate either.
Obviously Felco are the best but! I have had a couple of pairs of those and while great I am extremely good at putting a barrow load of pruning AND the secateurs on the bonfire pile .After a bonfire I have quite regularly found a pair of secateurs minus handles:gaah:.
At upwards of about £70 a pair those are quite an expensive mistake to make.
I did buy a few Aldi and Lidl ones but with the amount of pruning I do they hardly lasted a season so not buying those again.
So looking for something preferably luminous pink or green which are less likely to get lost, reasonably strong and won’t cause me to be furious if lost/ burnt! Thanks.

I had similar problems with secateurs getting lost, although I've never incinerated any.
I currently use a pair of Felco secateurs and treated myself to a holster for them which works a treat.

I've done the same with green or brown handled gardening tools.
      Notably pruning saws and trowels.

I bought some fluorescent yellow nail varnish and painted stripes on the brown/green handles and quite a few years on, I've still got them :)

I've got a holster but rarely use it.
I've got a 25yrs old pair of Sandvick ones and a newer pair of Darlec ones.

Both are pretty strong and last although I think Sanvick was taken over years ago by a French company.

I was in a pub many years ago and the toilet was down a short alley and locked, the bar staff would give you the key.
It was attached to a big old piece of wood, bit like a truncheon, to stop you losing it.
