    I remember this tagline or saying from my childhood (late 70's and 80's), but I cannot for the life of me remember who said it or who's tagline it was?

      As sure as I can be - it was a long time ago, so probably isn't word perfect. I have a feeling it was an electric oven maker, but can't be sure.

              Yes, absolutely terrible - especially raising the national debt to £581 million :yikes:

              Still, the Tories have had ten years or so of austerity to fix at least some of that thankfully, and looking at the latest release by the Office of National Statistics they have done a superb job, and it now stands at only £1768.8 billion. But hey, the net deficit is only £41 billion, so its all good.

              Politicians, bankers, financiers and insurers - - liars and charlatans the lot of them; there are not enough bullets in the world in my opinion.
