        Some more orchids from today.
        A rare cousin of the Greater Butterfly, the Lesser Butterfly orchid, only 12 plants at this only site in Dorset.

          I would like to see some wild orchids as well but have only ever seen one when we lived in Spain, many years ago now.

            Had a wander round a local loch, the Yellow Flag Iris look lovely and I see our young plant next to our wild life pond has a bud too.

                    Pyramidal orchid, this grows on a bit of council land just outside the allotment site. I'm always pleased to see it reappear as its very busy piece of grass

                        Here are a couple of wild flowers I saw at the end of May this year. The first I think is a wild Malva but the other I don't know what it might be.

                        I'm pretty good at identifying cultivated plants but a "dunce" when it comes to many wild flowers!
