Wilko's currently have various things at half price; fruit bushes, bare root perennials (the type in the packets), veg seeds in pots with a little bag of compost, large black patio tubs etc..

I bought some of the large patio pots, they are very robust, I got 3 of the 35cm ones for £2.50 each and one of the larger ones which is about 2 times the size for £5. They're going to take some filling with compost, but they're just the job :snork:

I've heard reports that their onion setts and seed spuds are now half price, but haven't been to a Wilkos myself to confirm this.

Where's my nearest Wilkos to the Battle area? The cost of getting there and back matters of course.
            Thank you and good morning,

More things going on the half price sale by the day at the moment; all summer flowering bulbs and rhizomes are now for sale; dahlias, gladioli, lilies, anenome etc.. all the packets say plant by May so there's still time for them...:blue thumb:

Our store were also selling off young Japanese Maples in 9cm pots for 20p today (as they had new stock in), they weren't in the best of health but I'm sure they weren't beyond help..

I called into Wilkos this afternoon and bought several packets of summer flowering bulbs, they were pretty cheap before the half price sale, now thay are a bargain! Some of the begonias are starting to sprout but I was careful to pick over the bags and choose ones that looked healthy.

Oh and I bought a couple of the 35cm planters, items aren't marked up very well so it's difficult to tell whats in the sale (in my store anyway), so had to take them to the till to get them price checked.

They normally have all the sale stuff marked as 'Half Price' etc. on Wilkos website, so you can make a wishlish before visiting (nothing worth than missing something instore and reading about it on the web after you've returned), or if there's none instore there may still be some in ther warehouse available to order & collect instore. If there's something you want to stock up on when it's half price add to your favourites and keep checking near the expected sale time.

All Johnsons seeds (and quite a few of Wilkos) are now half price - previously buy 2 get one (cheapest) free, but this was rather restrictive as you had to keep buying 3 pkts of the same price and make multiple trips through the tills.

Wilkos are also knocking 50% off gravel trays (all sizes) and packs of 110mm square pots (which are pretty flimsy flexible) - see here http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/search...page=12&_suid=1338738766116034299708789933336

What I'm most interested in this year, is when their smaller square pots get reduced, as they're so useful for getting the most efficient use of space either in propagators on under grow lights, like these http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/mini-greenhouses propagation/wilko-get-growing-plant-pot-square-black-7cm-x-15/invt/0297682/?htxt=/UvRjc0xAaKk26JwgsxcsV6E2gjpK53ITJCPcypNRrR6jhjYX3SDlEUFWaOdTpLU0xVcTayKYYOc w4t9gBa9qg== (also generally shown in that link above).

P.S. Didn't see round pots reduced instore, but see they have been reduced on Wilkos website - see first link above.
