Definitely agree about federer but Andy Murray is a fantastic player. He has huge skill and accuracy and is possibly one of the fittest on the circuit, barring injuries... It would be nice if the consistency was there though.

Great first day but didn’t they look hot!!

Just watched a game with Katie boulter against a Paruvian player and it was brilliant! Very fast paced for a women’s match, actually for any match, and made all the better as Boulter is a wild card on very good form. Both players very easy on the eye too which made it all the better :)

It's a shame Sloane Stevens went out so soon. I quite like her.

Didn’t expect Federer to get knocked out and I know it took over four hours but in one way I am glad as it will be nice to see someone else get a chance at the trophy:snorky:

Just watching Nadal play now after being down in the greenhouse for 1 1/2 hours so missed the start of it and as we are not that interested in football we aren’t missing much:biggrin:

In the Stick Tennis ladies final, Kerber won a thrilling first set 6-4. The match was suspended and will resume later today at some point.

@Jack Sparrow Not sure what ladies final you are watching but it hasn’t started yet as the presenters are still standing outside on centre court yaking:scratch::biggrin: Would like Kerber to win as I am getting fed up Semolina winning each year:sad:

Shame that Nadal didn’t win the semi finals and doubt if I shall watch the final tomorrow as I get fed up with Djokovic bouncing the ball up to fifteen times before he hits it the same as I get fed up Nadals rituals as well.Just play the bloody shot for Gods sake:snorky:

I could watch the football or the tennis. In the end I watch I neither. I haven't seen any tennis this far so I'm not worried too much.

Exactly my thoughts, just been watching the men's semi and they both have serious mental problems I believe.

As to the women's final, I'm not saying nuffing, just hope the big one don't win.;)

My apologies @Jack Sparrow as I have never heard of stick tennis and thought your computer had changed the words around like mine does at times:biggrin: Will have to have a Google and educate myself in this stick tennis:snorky:

My sentiments exactly @pete I used to be an avid fan of tennis for years but went off of it when Sampras kept winning each year and realised that life was too short to be spending nice sunny evenings and weekends stuck indoors so don’t tend to watch much of it now although because it has been too hot to work outside in the afternoons after spending between 3&4 hours at the lottie every other day I have watched a bit more this year

Yes this touching of the ears, eyes, nose, bums etc is starting to grate now:old::snorky:

Glad there a millions of people who disagree with you:).It is not nearly such an easy to game to start to play unlike kicking a football ball about which even toddlers can do so perhaps you were never able to master the rudiments and understand that there is an awful lot more to tennis than getting the ball over the net! I'll keep my thoughts to myself re whether The World Cup has been riveting watching...or not:)
