I have a 3 year old Wisteria growing up a pergola, which has to be moved.
The main stem is 1" in diameter and starts to branch out and intertwine with the pergola wires at around 3' from the ground and cannot be untangled beyond this point.
Can I cut the main stem here and dig it up and transplant it?
    Thanks for any advice.
