referring to,any one else gone on holiday and ended ud doing a few odd jobs?for a couple of years when i was younger we used to travel up to Scotland on holiday ending up at John O` Groats.my Father was an old school friend of the man who owned the hotel and cafe there at the time, who was friends with the man who owned the ferry.me and my brothers ended up good friends with their sons and daughters and the first year,i was 9 or 10, i worked selling pop and crisps on the ferry which sailed to the Orkney Isles everyday.i remember being very sea sick on my 1st voyage, sitting on the floor in the bar with the customers wondering what all the moaning and groaning was.the second yr i worked on the till in the cafe, till someone shopped me,but i earned myself £25 a week for 2 weeks.id never had that much money cross my hands before.i was vaery happy. :D
