You are so lucky! Over here there is rarely a chance to fast track anything. They say if there is a cancellation and a time slot becomes free, they'll move you up but I've never seen it happen.

      Hope all goes well :)

That's good, at least you're being attended to promptly. We're so fortunate to have the NHS. Think on the positive!

Good news, No big "C" found but will have to have further tests.

Bad news.... I have to have further tests

Now the VERY bad news...... I have to cut back on my alcohol, the english cider industry will suffer!

I've asked Carol to be supportive rather than moan at me.

Looks like I'll get to see Willow grow up to be the gorgeous girl she's destined to be.

So glad to hear this good news.

Sorry to hear you have to cut out a food group from your diet. Is it the bit of alcohol or the high amount of acid or ?

                            That's great news.

Having to give up alcohol isn't so hard to do. I was advised/ordered to give it up 56 years ago (medical grounds and also told I would lose my job if I didn't) and have almost got used to it :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Vince, that's absolutely great news- even though the Big C is not the sentence it used to be with today's excellent care, it's so blooming scary that ticking it off the list is worth celebrating. :yay:

The alcohol thing is hard, but let me at least reassure you that the British Cider Industry is safe. My teenager just turned 18

Is there any replacement activity or drink you could get interested in? Specialty teas? Home made cordials? (hurry, the elderflowers are still in bloom) I'm currently replacing some less important daily cigarettes with vaping, it's not the same but I'm getting used to it. Slightly less deadly and much cheaper. But to be honest, it's like eating low fat cheese- you don't do it for the pleasure. :noidea:

Brilliant news after your scary time, thanks for sharing Vince. All the best. :dbgrtmb:

Wonderful news, @Vince. I think we can all breathe a sigh of relief now...:grphg:... actually, in this heat, more of a distant “high five”!

Tough news about the cider - as a Hereford girl, I totally understand!

But other refreshing beverages are available? If you go down the fruit tea route, I can highly recommend Aldi’s Berry Fruits teabags. They really pack a punch of flavour! Elderflower cordial is hard to beat, with a little sparkling water. And some of the pressed apple juices are gorgeous
