My appointment to see a specialist for my arthritic knee finally here today,(only taken 3 months) so I've been there and back and because of the loss of mobility in my knee I've been told I need replacement surgery, not what I was expecting to hear, he told me I'd be looking at around 3 months recovery time, I'll have to have a really good think about it.

My sister had both knees done last year in July and October, as she lives on her own I stayed with her for two weeks ( until stitches were removed) after that she coped well on her own and even went back to childcare duties with her grandchildren. But yes have a think @mazambo , you will definitely need help for the first couple of weeks.

What a beautiful day...too good to be indoors!!!
Walked into town and had a very enjoyable 'catch up 'with friends before heading to the cinema. Really good film . I've seen many versions of Emma, even saw one a couple of weekends ago when we had that storm, but this added a tinge of comedy to it ...just what we all needed! Then as the sun was still out in force I decided to walk back home. A bit of sunshine puts a spring in your step!!:spinning:

                      Yes, looks just like them.

I have not been up close to them, only seen them driving by. They live on an acre plot so have a lot of space to run. We live up that road toward the camera about 1/4 mile and down a dirt lane about 700 feet. Yes, that house is big, twice the size of ours and we have a small garden.
