Because i subscribe to people who put videos of goldies on YouTube, I was recommended this one. I've watched a lot of them with cats and kittens.

This afternoon seen my friend Keith as usual. He was chucking a lot of card embellishments so i had them, now where can i put them. Got back at 3pm, walked Berry hubby walked Barley. Had dinner and then they had the last walk for the day. Sliced up the wholemeal loaf and put in freezer. It's 6.30 pm and going to watch a bit of tv that's been recorded.

It's my Wife birthday on 3 March so I went to the country Church where she is resting to renew her flowers, (she's never without fresh flowers). Getting up is a lot easier than getting up these days:old: but I managed to renew the flowers in the freezing cold breeze and sunshine. I've also planted 36 one litre pots of Tete a Tete Daffs in the frame as I always do in Spring as they were one of her favourite flowers so it's now awash with about 200 Daffs. On Tuesday, 3 March, I will place a Bouquet and card as always.
Getting back Home I cleaned up some Bird Feeders, while updating my Garmin Sat Nav. To be honest it's been nearly two years since I've updated the Sat Nav so I had to go to the Garmin site first and that, if you're not careful, isn't as easy as you think. The Garmin site is "surrounded" by so called Garmin Support sites which want to suck you into parting with money. Anyway, on finding the real Garmin site it was still a struggle to get through to the "free for Life"
section as it appears to be at bottom of all the other sections wanting you to pay. Downloading is fairly easy, well nearly. They tell you "We've got it from here", but fail to tell you that at around 32% of the download it will fail and you have to keep restarting the download. So, keeping an eye on it I had to restart it 4 times:wallbanging: until it got past the 35% and after that the download speed picked up and within minutes the Garmin was fully updated for 2020:hapydancsmil:
I downloaded the shortcut to the site so I wouldn't have to pick my way through those dodgy "Garmin support" sites, and the job was done.
After that I put my Body Warmer on and had an amble around the garden to see what more green shoots were popping up out of the borders. I've cut back the Clematis on the Trellis Entrance to the garden and I'm a bit surprised just how quickly new growth and green foilage is starting to show!! The Bird Feeders on the Lilac need refilling as well as the new uncaged Feeder so that job got done. I was glad that I'd put a large saucer base to the uncaged Feeder as the saucer was full of discarded seed, better there than scattered on the border soil. I've also got a Shirley Temple Peony in a really large green Chinese container and it's starting to push up vivid red shoots while the 11 others in the borders are not showing any signs as yet. After that it was back to the House for a Mug of Tea:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

Wow you've had a busy day @ARMANDII .Your wife will be looking down on you and loving all the Daffodils.:)

Yes things are definitely on the upward move in the garden now, green shoots are everywhere!!

You lost me on the Garmin bit I'm afraid as hubs sorts that out for us, does sound very complicated.

Put your feet up and enjoy your evening. x:recliner:

Don't do much on a Sunday, just spend time with the boys, hubby included. :heehee:
Did the 4 walks as usual, haven't been feeling too good this past week, some sort of tummy bug, but it's not too bad just feels a bit nauseous at times and a lot of burping. I'm a bit prone to having indigestion and heartburn, used to get it a lot when i used to work.

Went to the pub for an hour and discovered that an aquaintance had died this morning. He had a double lung transplant about 14 months ago which kept rejecting him. At least he got a bit of extra time on someone elses parts. I gave his wife a hug and left it at that.

Being a Sunday night, I am now going to sit on my hiney and watch reruns and sip my spritzer. Laundry, cleaning, car is charging from solar, and I have zero on my todo list tonight.

                Cheers!

Bright but very cold here today. Not feeling very well so contented myself with setting up the digital cameras on my microscopes. I now find it a bit difficult at times simply using the eye piecies, so using the cameras and viewing the sample on the computer screen really helps.

After some raking/burning Friday, rained. out to dinner last night with a friend. Saturday typical errands, food shopping, house stuff, work on taxes, etc. Relax a bit in evening with a martini. Hope on Sunday things will dry out to continue my outdoor leaf clean up. I am off work Monday, so that is what I will be doing also, leaf clean up. Boring life. Love being home.

Went to see Keith as usual and had a good time as we have fun deciding how we're going to do the inserts for the greetings cards. Telling each other how to do them .
