    Well done @Telmadee
My mother in law used to do a lot of things like that. When she used do wallpapering she had to tidy it up before father in law came back from work.

Thank you @Logan ...I love it, always was a tomboy tinkering about with father under his car bonnet etc, but got my own place at 17 so learnt DIY from then and loved it. Hubby hates it he gets so stressed. I do wall tiling carpeting all decorating etc and love it.

Spent a good couple of hours this morning - looking at the garden - didn't do anything - but the thought was there, so that counts in my book:

Friday late afternoon was doing some watering, it was very windy and something got into my left eye. It was hurting bad and tried to get it out by rinsing it with water, no good. Hubby went out and bought a eye rinse and i used it, was still the same. I waited until the morning it was still the same so after we got everything out of the way i went down to A&E waited for about an hour there wasn't a lot of people waiting. When i saw someone, she said that things come out of the eye straight away, it probably scratched the eye and that was I felt. She numbed my eye to put a colouring in to see what was going on and my eye was scratched and very bad. I've got some antiseptic ointment to put in three times a day and take some painkillers, but the don't do much. It should take a few days to get better, but when i wake up is very bad, my eye is red and painful and can't hardly see until i start moving around and doing things but it still hurts a lot.
So won't be on here very much for a few days, so all take care.

@Logan working in optics I see this a lot (no pun intended) I hope your pain eases soon, its instinct to rub it when something goes in or hurts, isnt it, as I say I work in optics have done for 36 years and I should know better, but when it was windy here Thursday we were outside sawing and I got something in my eye and straight away and for hours after I kept rubbing my eye :rolleyespink:

@Telmadee sorry that I haven't replied but my eye was very painful and couldn't see my phone very well to post anything. It's a bit better now but very painful when i wake up in the mornings and it feels like i've still got something in it but that's just the scratch. Can't seem to focus on the tv very well, looks like it's all stripy. In the future I'll keep my glasses on, it's not the first time and i bet it won't be the last. Glad that your eyes are alright.

                    For the UTI.
Try Cantharis 30c three times day, until relief is noticed, then stop medicating.

@Logan no need for apologies I totally understand. If it doesn't improve in the next couple of days I would phone your optician, they may advise you better, or may have you referred to the eye department for them to recheck, they will use the same dye, to highlight everything and take a look through a slit lamp as I'm guessing they would have done in a&e. I hope it improves soon for you . Kind regards

For me it was fitting new worktops in my kitchen, which finally arrived yesterday but although I haven't go one half of my kitchen yet because they cant deliver that until 04th june, I'm now stuck with a 3metre piece of worktop in my living room and trying to keep 3 little dogs from playing on it is a nightmare but I said to hubby the living room is the one place I can watch and make sure they dont play on it :rolleyespink:, aswell as doing that I was paint stripping hallway radiator and painting downstairs cloakroom radiator, so busy busy busy. 20200527_081325.jpg

Reminds me of when I refitted ours and had 4m and 3m lengths of woktop in our dining room, with a metre of the longest poking 1m through an open doorway into our lounge, staying there until I got the base units fitted and the walls squared up (1901 house) ready to accept it, and no kitchen sink until it was finished.

@Scrungee oh joy that sounded like fun :rolleyespink: pre lockdown I had my grandchildren aged 1, 2 and 3 twice a week so that would have been fun trying to keep the youngest two from climbing on it. One of our dogs yesterday kept going across for a sniff then loitered we were sure he was going to cock his leg up  I do hate disruption, but I guess it will be worth it in the end
