      Some irons shoot steam and can be used or domestic ones can be had for about 20 of your pounds, I believe as that is what they are here. Professionals use steam. :)

                ..... Being thoroughly spoilt!l!l One of my gifts from friends was an Olive Tree..so I'll be seeking advice from you all as I haven't the foggiest on growing one.

                Thanks everyone for making my day so special ( I had been secretly dreading it ...the 1st of anything is the hardest ) and a extra dollop of thanks to my good friend Vicky.
                Drove over to put flowers on Mum's grave...sadly Dad is still waiting to join her, but let's be honest....she did all the hard work and I was told I was a difficult breech home birth!!! :sorry: Mum!!!:heehee:

                Here's my Olive Tree... IMG_20200712_173820.jpg

                :spinning::spinning:....can you spot the Olives??

                      Morning Upsy. I can't see olives through the dead leaves! :yikes: but lovely present. Although I have one against my kitchen wall in the orchard next door, I can't advise you. I think yours needs lots of TLC (tidying up, planting, watering) but here they are never watered, only by whatever rain we get. There was recently questions on here so search for Olive in the title.

                      .

                          I managed to get into the Barbers last night on my way Home as I have at least 5 Barbers/Hair Dressers within a half a mile of me. When he asked me how short I wanted my hair cut I said "short"......so he did. The feeling of getting rid of my absent minded Professor look was just bliss and he even used a Cut Throat razor:hate-shocked: (which I haven't seen in years!!

                              Wet, and now windy. The postman drove straight past even though the marker was out that there is outgoing... Maddening as I cannot get anywhere..a parcel of needed stuff for Canada. However, I have ordered my prescription and it is he who also delivers those in the covid provision! Also emailed a neighbour who knows him well... Had a blitz on the bathroom and am now drained. BED calls. LOUDLY!

                                @Islander77 ..I meant the 1st happy event or celebration after loosing a loved one is always the hardest...not sharing my birthday with Dad.....or in fact this was the 1st time without any parent, like wise not looking forward to Christmas either. I was very close to my parents and the longest period of time I had not seen them for was when we had our 2week summer hols. .
