Your Day (apart from gardening) - what took place?

@Sian in Belgium you made me feel tired just reading about everything you have done . You certainly had a productive day. I didn't know you are an artist . Lovely Tiger. What is your commission ?

 

I spent this morning cleaning . Then we went over to Beaumaris for lunch and I dropped off more stock at the gift shop. A few more items have sold between the time I last spoke to them and today . Need to get busy making more over weekend.

 

Churned some butter pecan ice cream andmthen put it in individual reusable bowls. After that started the base for an espresso ice cream. Then had to go to the shop for more heavy cream. Very little else as it is hot and humid.

 

Good for you. Well done.

 

Sadly no gardening for me today. It's been tipping down all day. What a relief! I can't make it out. I have worked out in the open all my life and no problems. Now I find the warm weather here too much. I've been in house with all the fans and air cons using up my electric. At times having difficulty in breathing. Perhaps I have surcummed to hay fever, my eyes are very painful could be the glaucoma, but I feel so yuk. So the past two days, windows open fans on and chill out. I think I have drunk enough water etc to be able to water the garden.

 

Well had quite a busy day,I am now staying at my sister's for a while during her recovery from the surgery she had earlier in the week.
Annoyingly while I was carrying my bags into her house I dropped my tablet and now have a cracked screen.

I am now installed in the spare room ,but as I am keeping my door open so as to hear if I am needed I now have her cat sitting in the doorway watching my every move!! She is adorable though.

Still raining here thankfully ,can actually hear it on the roof and windows.

I’ve been asked to draw a lovely Labrador. A black lab, but the photo I have for reference is excellent, so it will be an enjoyable commission piece.

 

@Upsydaisy hope that your sister recovers well from her op.

This afternoon went to see my friend Keith. He has a lot of trouble with piles, the doctor examined him and told him that he has nodules on his prostate, he's going to see someone next Friday and he's had blood tests. Hope that it's not serious.

 

Today made 3 jam tarts

And some jam, hubby picked some wild plums and I added some of our own red currants.

 

Who eats all these yummy looking tarts you make Logan? You could send a few here.

 

They're for hubby, yes you can have some I'll send some over.

 

Sad sad day today, my nephew passed away he was diagnosed with cancer at the end of April and wow he's gone, such a waste he didn't quite get to 40, struggling to take it in such a lovely bubbly young lad.

 

So sorry for your loss @mazambo
at such a young age even more so.
