No problem @BeeHappy  The Phlox are called Moody Blues a lovely mix of blue shades , ebay is full off them . I am growing Phlox starry eyes this year for a change. Phlox is rarely mentioned on GC , and it is very heavy flowering through to the end of October and really easy to grow from seed. :blue thumb:

i also love a Phlox called Omega its in my Ohhh YES please folder so i'm on the hunt for it :dbgrtmb: the main reason being that it copes well with the rain as its a more open bloom :spinning:

I love the birdies too :blue thumb: @WeeTam you would have loved it last year as i had a mammy robin nest in my zip up greenhouse inside my walk in cold frame ...LOL did they they caused a commotion as i was in a right two n eight in case the parents abandoned them so i got all my seedlings out under the log store and prayed for good weather mind you with the amount i sow :rolleyespink: i had to farm quite a few of the real tender ones to friends in case we had a cold snap and i lost them LOL it caused quite a stir with everyone ...the village was in a "right to do" :heehee: but thankfully the chicks and seedlings all survived :dbgrtmb:
heres the pics i took of the babes, sorry i could only get them quickly on my phone as i didn't want to frighten them or delay the parents coming back in to feed them and Boy did they work hard bless them :chicken:

@Anthony Rogers :blue thumb: yes they are so grateful for this early nectar/pollen ...i feel soooo pleased when i can see the crocus wide open in the sunshine and real hopeful that a hungry buzzy might drop by :spinning: gives you a proper feel good factor and reminds you that Spring is just around the corner

@BeeHappy Iknow it sounds corny but watching and listening to the various birds really enhances the garden making it a happier place to bee in. :)

We have a couple of resident robins too but its the flycatcher and wrens nests especially that seem to crop up in surprising places.

A blackbird got the fright of its life last year when i lifted a sheet that was keeping the logs under it dry. It shot right past my ear as it freaked out :hate-shocked: freaking me out :yikes: never to be seen again :rolleyespink:

I like Premier Seeds - some of the seeds they sell come in foil packets which helps keep them longer if you don't get to sow them this year.
