    Hi

I planted some bulbs last year and they came up and flowered - daffs and tuiips - but they've all died or stopped growing. Looking at the photos, are they dead? Should I dig them up?

    Thanks for any ideas.

They are perfectly normal. Daffodils and tulips are spring flowering bulbs, so they produce leaves in early spring, then flowers and after the flowers have finished the leaves die down for the rest of the year. The bulb has been recharged for next spring. As you have planted in them in the ground then you don't need to do much apart from tidy up the dead leaves and plant some summer bedding or maybe some perennials and wait for next spring when they should reappear.
