Hi we are doing work in our garden whilst my Husband is off, things on to-do list

we’d like some new plants to continue an established flowerbed. The plants there are 2.5 metres ish, and we want plants that will blend in once established themselves. The last established plant at the end where we’d like to continue is a large honeysuckle.

we would like some colour, there is a lot of green in our garden. We would like 5-6 plants to place along that part of garden. (For comparison - Looking at an established section the same size we want to fill). Giving them the space between needed of course. That part of the garden is full sun.

do you have any recommendations please?

    thank you
    Clair

Hi Clair, so I take it we're talking about Hardy Perennials and that your border is against a fence or wall? There are many Hardy Perennials that might fit your wants, but it is always about personal choice so one persons choice is not always the same as another persons (ask your Husband about that!!:heehee:). Some plants fit better in the middle of the border because of their height and other fit more to the front, but it all depends on what you like.
Phox is well worth considering as there are quite a few different colours and varieties. My borders are almost entirely Hardy Perennials which seem quite happy to grow, flower, die off in the Winter and then reappear again the following year. It might pay you to go online and do some research to decide what kinds of plants you want which might just change your views on your future plans for your garden.
But, I am sure, that the rest of the GC Gang:love30: will be along to offer the benefits of their experience and knowledge giving you more ideas.:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:
