African Violet

My sister-in-law gave me a beautiful African Violet pot plant for my birthday but
the flowers are now sadly all drooped and almost dead. If I remove the dead heads
will the plant revive and grow more flowers in the spring?
The plant itself looks very healthy.

Leaf cuttings are easy jjordie follow the link 02 gave you.

 

I find they flower all year round if given good light in winter and no sun in summer.

Main problem is overwatering, they like to be fairly dry before giving a soak from the bottom.

 

:DI'm not sure if they like attention!...Mrs Pal has a couple of beauties:dh:...I mean Violets:lollol:....They seem to thrive in her care where as other plants take one look and Die!....

jjordie,Mrs Pal says ....Just leave them alone...don't water them ,but keep them warm....She puts them in the spare room where the temp is constant and out of direct sun light.
