I never used to wear protective clothing etc in the garden. My hands became like leather and hard. Since my brush with cancer I have become more aware asto taking care of myself.

I have suffered with psoriosis for the past sixty years and since the cancer much of my skin id broken. So I use surgical type glove for general use, thick thornproofs for roses and shrubs. Safety glasses over my ordinary specs when thinning out shrubs as I feel that my responce to my face and eyes with sticks and twigs, may be slower now. Also in my workshop grinding and drilling, I value my eyes. Footware. Boots.
