Is all bamboo evergreen or just certain varieties? I'd like to grow some tall e/green plants in a narrow border but I heard some bamboo can take over - any suggestions?

If you're worried about pandas put jars of chicken tonite around the plants, its works the same way as feeding slugs oatmeal! :D
