I'm sure this is a perennial favourite topic thats been discussed many, times before. It's nearly time for our annual bbq. Us being us, we put it away last year without cleaning it intending to do it at some point in the future. I now have 3 weeks to get it done.

How should I clean it? In previous years I've used hot soapy water and a brill pad. It's hard work and doesn't look much better when it's done. Consensus on Facebook seems to be aluminium foil. Any thoughts?

If you can get your hands on some industrial de- greaser it works wonders on grills, I mean the stuff they use in restaurants and cafes :blue thumb:
Easiest solution is those oven cleaning bag things :snorky:
I’m reliably told you can get them in all major supermarkets .... and cheapy shops :dbgrtmb:
We just blow the cobwebs away and call the rest flavour
Good luck and enjoy your bbq
    I’m guessing Saturday afternoon?
Have fun and remember sun screen :)

If its grease you want to shift, soak overnight in a fairly strong soda solution.
It just washes off under the tap the next day.

A friend of mine doesn't clean their's at all, all they do is fire up the bbq and turn up to the hottish temp and leave it there for a while then starts cooking

            Steak any one
