I painted my garden fence with Ronseal Fence Life Plus midnight blue fence paint and there is nothing midnight about it! It's more of a darker shade of teal, the effect I was going for was a dark blue. I'm thinking of painting over it with a grey to darken it, will this get the desired effect or completely make a mess of it? Any suggestions welcome! Thanks

Well, yes if you want a grey fence it will work.
But surely to get dark blue you need a dark blue paint.
    But I'm no artist.

I should have mentioned that I have looked for a dark blue but they don't seem to be dark enough which is why I went for the Ronseal one. I was thinking of applying a single coat of grey to make it ore of a blue grey shade but darker!
