I have had one for about 2-3 years now, and it has never flowered, it is in a sunny position, and in a pot(which is not too big).

Any ideas why it has never flowered for me?

This is what it sould look like:-

I think you said it Nathan if its in a small pot. I bet its pot bound, they make masses of roots. Is it a hardy one, or the one in the pic. which is a bit tender, I've grown that on a wall sucsessfully but not in the open. I now have a narrow leaved plant (rigidus)which seems to be totally hardy.

I've sown them hoping they get up enough to over winter...I think the packet was priced at Ã?£3 and as it was free with a mag for Ã?£1.50 i didn't like to argue [IMG]

I'll post what they are tomorrow Pete

The greenhouse is down the bottom of the garden and when you walk down at night all you can hear are snail shells crunching under your feet....come to think of it..I'll fetch the packet now :D

Cheers Nathan, I'll sow the callistemon next week
