If you dont want to pot it into a bigger pot, consider lifting it in the autumn, trimming the roots and top and removing the excess soil. Use a John innes compost Fuchsialady

It’s a dwarf ? They need better conditions than the usual

In the spring I would give it a granular feed and mulch it. A high potash feed during the summer too

 

I think it's a Buddleia Buzz but can't find the details now. I should be glad it's nothing nasty wrong with it, but the thought of tipping it out..... they seem to hang on like grim death!!

 

Nikalaos has a great buddleia Buzz fuchsialady.....hopefully he post a picture of his buzz Ivory

 

I'll try linking to the thread, don't give up hope Fuschialady, yours has a lot of potential and should do well if planted in the ground with some decent drainage, they just absolutely hate the slightest bit of waterlogging and should be pruned more lightly than the species (davidii) and its larger cultivars in Spring. Also seem to respond well to very regular deadheading.
