hi to everyone,(newbie to this forum-old hand at the net).
I have a camelia in a pot(its the only acid loving plant in the garden) and it appears to be stacked with blooms.Hazarding a guess that this is due to the un-seasonally warm weather,do I need to protect(e.g. fleece) the flower buds in case of likely frosts ?

Camellias will often drop their buds after heavy frost, particularly if facing east (they catch the early morning sun and the frost thaws quickly and damages the buds). The same is true of the flowers if frosted so I would fleece if you suspect sharp frosts.

Thanks for the timely reply,as it happens the front of the house does face east and catches the sun from dawn to midday.
    Once again thank you.
