Been watering it Woo? Maybe over watering?
Keep dry. In a sunny spot? :)
Remove dead and dying foliage to maintain air flow

As hot as poss Woo, don’t feed, don’t water and create as much air circulation as poss. Removing dead foliage is good
I like to use gravel as a mulch for cistus, helianthemums (both “sun roses”) instead of bark chips etc as heat is reflected then from the ground :)

Do you want the good news or the bad news, Woo? The good news is that it's a Cistus :) Bad news...it's not 'Silver Pink'! Perhaps Cistus purpureus x Alan Fradd. More good news is that evergreens do tend to lose their old leaves throughout the spring and summer. It's normal. Give them a light trim over when flowering has finished to keep the plants 'young'. IME, their flowering period is quite brief, but very spectacular. If you'd like some genuine 'Silver Pink', I can send you some. I'm sure there'll be rooted layers from mine. Just PM me your address :)

I wouldn't call 'Silver Pink' compact. My one plant covers 20m2

They usually grow about a metre wide for me and I’ve grown a few of them.
