    Poundland are selling two types of clay pots.
    Usual shape and a low one.

    I'll take a picture of one of mine when I get home.

      This is the low one.
      It's really thick and heavy. The inside diameter is approx 8".
      I don't have the other type. I'll buy some on the weekend.
      Not bad for £1.

          On the way home from Manchester this afternoon I stopped at a Plant Nursery and bought a large clay pot after finding one of my old favourite pots, containing Sisyrinchium, had cracked all the way around the base:gaah: So a quick change into mucky clothes and I filled the new pot with a mixture of compost, sand, and grit, I divided the clump of Sisyrinchium into two and planted one clump into the new pot and the second into a second smaller clay pot.:coffee::snorky:

          I like the look of clay pots but have never used them. I can't stand the feel of them as they're one of those things that make me shudder.
