I keep hearing shocking weather reports of "There may be a ground frost".

I found these old water holders make me sleep easier, I cut the bottoms off of them :-

I also found that the packaging for washing gels are great for any little lettuce and stuff that you may have been hasty with, I put them in the freezer for 1/2 hour and the labels come off clean, I wash them out and use them upside down. These things :-

I have no idea what they are called, but they grow about two feet high and have yellow flowers, Ill take a picture when they bloom. I tuck them into the obelisks till they are about the height they are at now.

Yes, its loosetrife :-) I find if I tuck the blooms in until they are just above knee height the not so strong ones fill out the lower areas and it will be a heap of nice flowers.

    Thank you :-D

I've woken up exceptionally early today. Just wandered outside to check up on some new acquisitions, and there's frost on the grass! In the middle of May, in London. (outer-skirts, but still).

I'm thinking that this is pretty unusual, yes? If anyone’s got any input as to how unusual, I'd be very interested to hear it.

I think I've picked a bad year to start experimenting with non-beginner plants...
