    Howdy!

I was so happy a few weeks ago when I noticed all the female flowers
on my cucamelon. I have this inside so had to pollinate them by hand.

I have tried with q-tops, and rubbing the male flowers agains the female
ones, even pressed the males onto the female flowers so they actually was
    hanging onto them.

I have done this practice at all times of the day, so no specific time.

I have now missed maby a hundered melons, they have all died.

Left is now 3 ones, thats almost the size of grapes.

What could I have missed or done wrong? Anyone?

Weird. These are really simple to grow usually with no issues over pollination. Are they getting enough heat and water? I just left them to their own devices and the plants romped away

It seems they have been extra thirsty the last weeks. But no wonder given the heat.
Lack of nutritions perhaps? Although I have a few "long-term-fertilizing-stick"
    in the pots.

Was so happy around a week ago, because a bee discovered the plants.
But it took about 2 minutes, and then it just squeezed itself inside a curled
leaf, (and slept)? for around 3 hours. And then took off through the window again: )

Oh, perhaps 30% of the leaves are now hanging and has turned yellow.
I presume this is the natural process since I planted it in the beginning of April?

i have a question for you, Magnus. Do you know how to get rid of the spaces after the sentences when you copy and paste? I am assuming you don't require the spaces.

    Sorry what does piccy mean?
    I havent copy /pasted anything,hmm..
Do you want me to write the text closer together without
the spaces? Old habit I guess, easier to read and follow up, for some.

Lol, quite right. It looks poorly - under or over watered. I should mention a full sized cucamelon is only size of a big grape (frankly i found them a massive disappointment )

Be interested to know what size pot it is growing in.
      It looks fairly big.

      Thanks for the answer.
Then I assume, that it has had too much water.
Its actually 4 individual pots, where the plants has grown together.
They are about 1 litre each, so around 4 in total.

Do you think I should cut off all the "injured"
      leafes?

But really, you think this is the cause for dying female flowers
      = only 3 cucamelons?

And Yes :) Tiny they are!

The plants look like they are dying to me, how long have they been growing?
They look pretty large to be this years sowings.

I found that the plants needed to get fairly big before female flowers were produced, but once growing vigorously they were pollinated reasonably well in a greenhouse with all insects allowed in.
But from a spring sowing they didn't start setting flowers until around August.
