Dandelions in the lawn

    I appreciate all the posts promoting consideration of wildlife alongside/over aesthetic garden choices. Unfortunately it's not as much of a consideration for me as we have small gardens on our green and there are cats everywhere - so bird activity in the garden is minimal :sad:

    Plus, I manage 6 allotment plots that are effectively a community woodland and wildlife zone, so we do our bit for the bods and beasties there :spinning:

      Very useful. A quick read of that suggests....I'm doing everything wrong! Expecting a new(ish) plant to bloom voraciously? Check! Feeding regularly with nitrogen? Check!! Not planting in full sun? Check!!!

      I think I'll move it this autumn, and then stop being so kind to it next year!
