    Nice one Dim. I like it. How did you get a picture of me :whistle:

    I do need a path. Gardening on clay means that the place would be a quagmire otherise :(

    No more stepping stones though. A proper path. But where ?

    all out of scale ... but just to show an idea

    I would not put the arbour in that position though but I'd also look at screening off the back area with perhaps a hedge or one of these arbours with the side panels and grow an evergreen creeper through it:

    Thats the type of path yes :dbgrtmb:

    Would are curved path look odd in a garden with straight lines as a theme ? Also the dug out area will be a patio.

    I agree with the screening at the bottom. I was thinking of Hornbeam ?
