I have a fairly strong aversion to garden centres and have similar feelings about the majority of mail order plant sellers too!
I already have Dicentra Spectablis plus the alba variety and Formosa as well but do not have Valentine. I was wondering if anybody grows this lovely variety and if so A) would they recommend where they bought or otherwise! and B) if they had enough of it might they be prepared to do a swap for something I have which they might like in return. Dicentra does split quite well either last in the season or in early spring. Thanks

I don't grow dicentra but I see Dorset Perennials have it in stock, I've had plants from them and have been very happy with their quality and service.

Many thanks @mazambo I will contact then and see if they will sell me a decent “ chunk” as having a large garden small amounts of any plant just get a bit lost. Being a small nursery they might be obliging.
