The pics here dont look so bad but the rusting on the rim and inside some of the planters is really bad.

Thanks @Verdun I have tweeted about them on their twitter site and will tell them about the forum in the next email (tomorrow now as its gone 5:30 and Matt has gone home!)

@CarolineL Try their Facebook/Twitter and post the bulbs or else they didn't know. Why should you lose out? They are always like that. When I ordered some black hellebores from TM, they even said I didn't order them. I copied and pasted the order history and they sent me replacement. Er hmm, next year, I might have another shock when they flower!

But do persevere! Why should you suffer in silence?

 

@Snorky85 I agree with @Verdun . Copy the url and show them that you have had an open discussion on this forum and see how they respond.

Also see if they have a twitter/Facebook page where you could air your grievances.

 

Hi @alp I sent a further email 6 days ago to JParkers after urging from other members, but no reply. I do not do social media, so email is the only path. @Linz got a good response eventually, but they seem to be ignoring me!

That's odd @CarolineL :( Sorry to hear you're having trouble. I had a reply almost 20 minutes later. I searched for the order confirmation email and replied to that and said the lilies had failed. Email [email protected] and quote your order no. Hope you get it sorted.

@Snorky85 Hope you get it sorted too, they shouldn't be rusting that quickly!

 

@CarolineL It took me 10 years to get the Legal Commission to sort out my ex's being overcharged and my being bullied by his solicitors. In the end, if I kept quiet, his solicitors would still be colluding with my solicitors to overcharge others. They thought I was an ignorant woman who could not understand English (sometimes, I do believe that!). My solicitors wrote to me that she needed to instruct 3 estate agents to give a quote on the house. She was cheeky enough to use the exactly 3 estate agents I had used and wanted to charge me extra by using the same quotes I had given to the court. I myself wrote to the judge and asked me to be exempted from doing that. He had the good sense to allow me to do so. Every time I felt hard done by, I emailed the Legal Commission and cc the name of the incumbent Attorney General. 10 years down the road, ex and I got a cheque each and he got his refund for being overcharged for land search.

Yes, for something of the level of cost of solicitors, it is worth going for it - I have in the past had to threaten a solicitor with Legal Ombudsman... it worked.

@Linz - yes, I used that email address, and my order number. Hmm - odd. Being charitable, sometimes spam filters make strange decisions - I have now sent it again as a reply instead.

 

@CarolineL You can do it and don't let them get away with it.
