Common sense says Primrose should refund.

It beggers logic to spend more time debating the issue - Primrose need to look at how much £ in terms of staff time they have spent defending their position.

I have to say, I've ordered from them before with no problem.

Thanks @clanless . It has been quite a palava! Luckily I've had the lovely @shiney on my team :)

Finally got a replacement for faulty products due to being damaged on receipt. Ordered some fibrecotta pots instead. Had fibrecotta from them in the past and all has been fine.

Like you, I'm suprised at the time they've wasted on such a simple issue! Shouldn't be this difficult!

Luckily not all companies are like that. Called Jacuzzi this morning about a problem and theyre sending an engineer around to have a look straight away :)

Also had complained to j parkers about the rubbish echinacea and alchemilla mollis and they are sending me a refund but have also sent me some replacements because one of their staff had caused some confusion. Win win!

@shiney, @Verdun, @ARMANDII - a followup. I followed your advice at the time to send another email (the third!) and Parkers answered it, and said they'd replace the bulbs in the autumn. I thought 'hmmm, we'll see', but yesterday found that they had sent replacement martagon lilies. Unfortunately even these are not that brilliant - a few have already disintegrated, but they are better than the originals.

              Ok CarolineL
Progress but not good enough.Take a picture of the "disintegrated" ones and email it to Parkers.
Say, what you said here. :)

Well, I guess I've learnt my lesson with Parkers, so when it comes to ordering specific type of bulbs etc, I will go elsewhere.:coffee::snorky:

Hi @Verdun - a bit late for photos I'm afraid, since I stuck it in a pot anyway! If I'm lucky it will form some small bulbils on the separated scales. Now that I've got a few martagons (from seed) and a couple of martagon variant hybrids (from Parkers), I'm going to concentrate on growing from seed. It only takes a few years... just got to hope for some white ones

Let's hope Parkers are reading this. A lot of customers and potential customers are. Perhaps they will do the right thing and send Caroline proper replacements. Then she can report better news about Parkers :)
