      Only just :snorky: !!

I needed a larger amount, because it is a safer way of killing off big roots. If you drill into the root at least 7 or 8 inches and fill the holes with ES, damp down a bit and cover over with old plastic compost bags (or similar) the roots will rot off, and if any of the salt seeps into surrounding ground, it will simply help any other plants nearby. Much better than using poisons.

A little of what we fancy does us good..... an overdose can kill ......:mute:

On the subject of installing posts and concrete leach - I'm installing some posts in the front garden for a picket fence.

Just this morning concreted 3 in place.

I notice that there is now such a thing as post fix foam - this magic concoction is placed in the hole around the post - it expands and holds the post in place. Supposedly as good as using normal concrete.

How things have advanced - I thought that bunging in the pre mixed concrete and watering was easy - but this stuff means no more lugging around heavy bags of concrete - what will they think of next.
