Fireworks Geranium

    I purchased a pretty fireworks geranium from the local garden centre. On the label it said that it illegal to propergate. I have never seen this before on a plant. Any ideas on why?

    Only commercial prop is not allowed . It's ok for you to take cuttings .

    I think it has to do with plant breeders rights.
    A bit like a patent, but on a plant, that someone, or organisation has bred.

      Yes, but I have noticed it doesn't seem to grow and flower as fast as other geraniums I have had. Hopefully it will pick up as the weather warms up.
