Flowers coming out

I'm hoping we've had the last of the snow up here in Sheffield, and that the frost is on it's way out.
If the Weather predictions are right, towards the end of next week the heats going to creep up

Who's got some flowers already out?
My beautiful helleborus "Red Lady" is fully out, looking stunning amongst not much else! My Soldiers & Sailors are also making a start.
Even my wallflower under the bubble wrap is starting to flower

Come on Spring/Summer! I want my garden out in all it's splendor!

 

Relatively warm day in Newcastle, only needed a fleece today !
Spring is on the way.

 

Winds a bit cool still here, got a sharpness to it.
There was frost out this morning, but then sun has banished it away

Here's my beautiful helleborus - purchased it last year when it was just leafy, the flowers had already been and gone, so it's wonderful to finally see the flowers:

 

That's stunning Elizabeth. Is it a named variety? Hellebores do take centre stage at this time of year and deserve a round of applause don't they ,

And yes, it is very pretty, i am very pleased to see it

 

the Kerria's are looking good at the moment, as are the primroses, the Periwinkle has a few brave flowers too unfortunately it doesn't look like we'll be getting many flowers on the Forsythia's this year and none at all on the Flowering Currants wonder why it effected them more i've just noticed one of the Clematis has flower buds too

 

I wouldn't get too carried away - whilst the signs are that the cold will subside towards the weekend the likelihood is that temperatures will still be colder than average :(

 

Here in Cornwall EVERYTHING is out....helebores, I have some 40 varieties..daffodils, forsythia, Ribes, violas, camelias, magnolias, etc etc
Although cold we have had a reasonably mild winter....frosts and snow etc and minus temps have given us a miss in the far west

Kristen - lets hope this will mean a later warmer summer going into Autumn?

 

There are a few flowers on my labrador violets so they're braving the cold weather!

 

Hope so too ... but the signs are not looking good. I think most likely outcome is that the jetstream remains to the South which results in a poor summer.

 

Spring is finally here with us!!

Our Chinese foxglove is starting to flower, granted we kept it in our unheated conservatory over winter which undoubtedly helped its early performance.

 

Beautiful Hellebores and also the Chinese Foxglove .. I think we are going to have a warm summer judging by most of the forecast I have read

 

Some of my tulips are now flowering
