Is it black black or reddy black? Are the leaves distorted and if so where in the UK do you live?
      Do you have a photo?

        Hi,

        Welcome to the forum .

Can you post a pic of the trouble , it should make it easier to identify the problem.

Also are the plants inside the house, greenhouse or in the garden ?

Looks like rust to me. You need some form of fungal control but I know that some of the treatments can have an adverse affect on Fuchsia so test spray a small area first and wait a couple of weeks to make sure that there are no ill effects on the test area.

Welcome to the forum Kimmy 15.
As already suggested by a member, it looks like Rust or Fuchsia rust. Fuchsia rust is a fungal infection that takes on many forms. It can also attack other plants. Any fuchsia grower who has Willow herb growing close by beware, as the infection can be transfered between the two.
Plants may need to be sprayed BEFORE the become infected. As far as I know. There is no miracal life saver chemical. Remove all affected leaves, buds, flowers and burn....DON'T COMPOST. Go ahead and spray with the hope that you have beaten a further attack.
Might I suggest. Check out RHS.org.uk/fuchsia rust.

                Enjoy your gardening.
