Garden labels

    I save foil dishes from pies etc, cut them into strips and then use a ball point or pencil to emboss plant names. I make a small fold at one end, punch with a nail and either tie to the plant or a stake. Just about last for ever and if you pop the foil dishes into a dishwasher it takes the gloss off which in my opinion makes the labels look better.

    Used to have a rat that made nests of used tea bags under the shed.

    Got home to find the rats were digging under my raised beds to get the kitchen waste that was meant for the french beans.

    Carefull on the CDs Angelina, they are like blades when they are broken, better off with plastic bottles.
