Sorry missed the last couple of replies on this thread.

The garden was started in 2005, although not much really happened until the following year.

This is how it looked back then:

Hey Stephen, yes the Trachys are doing really well this year, perfect weather for them. Most of the garden loves this wet weather although a few things are being held back by the lack of heat.

      Tropical_Gaz,

The Schefflera in photo 3, what species is that?
      Is it fully hardy?

What a slice of heaven this is Gaz. You have a lot of skill and foresight in your plantings.
What's that lucky little moggies name ?

That one is sold under various names. Its sometimes refered to as The Garden House Shefflera, which is a garden in Devon with a large Schefflera. Seed grown plants from that one are usually available from places such as Pan Global Plants or The Dutchy of Cornwall Nursery amoungst others. It is sometimes labeled as S. Impressa or S Rhododendrifolia (both the same plant and similar).

It has been fully hardy in our Luton garden. As has S. Impressa/Rhododendrifolia.
