Good afternoon, Perki.. My cameras are no good. Samsung has a lot of pixels, but change the orange of Trollius to yellow...:rolleyespink: and my panny hasn't got enough pixels and loses details. @longk has some stunning photos, and it might be a good idea to ask @longk. First we need one that can do lovely close ups, also enough pixels and details. I would go for Canon or Nikon. As soon as you've got a new camera, do a colour test, is yellow really yellow and see if you can capture the red in that J anemone on a day with good light. I also want a decent camera and will test it with my son's iphone when he's home long enough for me to take a snap or two.

Hehe! I agree @Verdun you do need a new camera your gardener will look PERFECT or specimen garden if you upgrade your camera.. Is your camera as old as you? :snork:

    Oh, @Perki , I miss your borders!

I bought Canna australia this year from hart canna, it does look very similar.
I put some pics on in a bit Alp, I just have to take loads of pictures to get a few half decent.

I grow 3 acteas....James Compton, Brunette and Black Negligee. All superb plants making large architectural black/purple/brown specimens AND they produce spikes of scented flowers in late summer
