I have got loads of those leaves. What's inside the wrap then? Were they steamed or roasted. Intriguing. Would like to make use of my leaves as I have had no grapes at all for years as I never water them much and I can't bear killing them.

Finished "Broken" and I'm amazed that he advocates violence against game machines. Nobody holds a gun to Roz's head to force her to play with other's money .. OK, I don't agree with gambling, but as in everything, moderation is the key..

@alp Lovely flowers. yes the brace anoyes me when I'm trying to sleep. The dial on the side makes it hard for me to sleep on my side, because it sticks into my other leg.
So i have to put a cushion in between my knees. It feels itchy sometimes and hot. Got to go to orthopedic clinic on Thursday, so might be the last week i have it on. The knee's a lot better, just feels a bit stiff.

A very cool and grey day. Hopefully, I can achieve a bit more today. Yesterday was just too hot ..

Partly cloudy, misty and very warm :)
Oh! Where are my manners? Good morning fellow gardeners ...wishing you all a great weekend :rasp:
As always the beach in early morn is invigorating :)
Quick walk around the garden shows lots of new flowers opening up.....Lilac Squirrel for example. This is an enchanting and delightful plant.....bright pink lipstick colour that the ladies seem to swoon over but I like it too. :hapfeet: Hopefully amid white anemone, imperata red baron, astilbe shogun and a painted fern it will not clash with anything.

Sounds lovely, @Verdun I bought two variegated grasses last year and they all died on me. Think it's called Fireworks.. Imperata red Baron was too dear or I would have bought it.

Glad that this lady had a good discourse on penstemon.. I bought some Barbatus Cambridge drawf mix and they are gorgeous.

Thankfully a bit cooler here today with the sun trying it's hardest to put in an appearance.

Grocery shop then off to visit my dear dad...,then may continue taking some cuttings this afternoon.

That's my day sorted , have a lovely catch up with your friend @Logan.

What plans does everyone else have?

Whatever they are I hope your Saturday is full of Smiles!:):)

                    And to you Upsy :)'
Alp, Fireworks is tender.....it will not survive outdoors over winter needing a min of 4 degrees. Even indoors this pennisetum can fail. Dig it up, pot it and bring it indoors. You would have been better buying the imperata cos this one is hardy.
