Rained off again today so no Greenhouse assembly
    Assistant not available tomorrow :-(

Think I will have a go myself though :-)
It is just like a big meccano set, and I think you glaze it after it is up

I will see if it is do-able, without twisting the frame though

Jack, if it`s a new greenhouse the sections should be in bundles. Sides, back end. Door end and roof. What type of base are you using? Brick or manufactured? i.e aluminium / steel

    Initial start

I have slabbed a walk round path, that the Greenhouse frame will sit on (earth inside)
The frame is Zinc plated steel 8'x10'x4"

I have one gi-huge box of single stips of Aluminium about 100 pieces and a bag of nuts and bolts
    One box of glazing

I have tried to attach a photo of my initial start out, well when I remembered to take photos, so on day one I had moved the Karanger plastic storage box round the side of the brick shed, made and set down a tanalised timber base that I was moving the old shed on to

So it has an integral base? That is, one built into the frame? Don`t try building the greenhouse in one. Assemble the 4 walls seperately first. then mount the sections on the slabs. Do not tighten any of the bolts, you want a bit of play in the frame. Once you have assembled and joined the walls together, install the ridge, from this you lay the ridge bars.Once the skeleton is erected, place panes of glass in the four corners, i.e in the bottom slots of either end of the roof, both sides. Once you have these 4 panes squarely situated tighten up all the bolts and fix the base to the slabs. Now you can finish glazing the greenhouse.:dbgrtmb:

Well this was the third and final weekend to complete

Rained off Saturday, no help available Sunday
So today all by myself I assebled the Greenhouse, and all was done by
18:30 apart from four roof panels,
Oh they fit OK just I can not get access to complete the glazing strips
      spent three hours trying
If I use a ladder, I do not have arms long enough, you have to apply some pressure to clip strip in, I can not lean on the structure as it is something like 2mm Aluminium
I followed the instructions to the letter in the order to be fitted

My only solution I can think of, is to use Clear Silicone sealant, gun it in and slide the panels up on it and not use the special strips

Annoying as the other 24 panels went like clockwork two minutes each

      Jack (Greenhouse failure)

It's always the same, Jack, the last bit is always the most awkward. I must admit I didn't have that problem with my Greenhouse as the clips were easy to fix on as I managed to get reach all parts of the frame. But, when I'm:what::WINK1: doing a project I can put in loads of screws/nails without a problem, but get to the last one and something goes wrong:cry3: Either it goes in at the wrong angle or won't go in all the way and then when you try to get it out it won't come.

The sealant should hold it in while there's no high winds but ............................ you know what I'm saying:heehee::D

Viewing our garden I noticed Julez68 had the same greenhouse and PMd her
They had the same problem and resorted to what I thought I would have to do
So off to Homebase tomorrow for a tube of the sealant then hopefully job done

Tomatoes in AUGUST yea and weekends off for a while Well not off but no hard 12 hour manual graft for three days at a time :-)

      Thanks Joolz68

Jack, you can glaze the roof from INSIDE the greenhouse, it is much easier than trying to reach over the guttering.:dbgrtmb:

I can not see a way HOW ?
        It is a Palram polycarb
The roof rails have a u shaped groove, the polycarb has u shaped highs that fit into the groove, then a long glazing strip that snaps down the full length into the groove of the polycard

I purchased Uni Bond Translucent silicone outdoor sealant tonight, and when it evenutally stops raining in August :-) the frame has dried out I will try and apply it

I would love to see Palram assemble one perhaps they have a cherry picker they can sit in and work

Further disaster, yesterday whilst building it up, I felt a few sharp digs in my back /arm pits
Today I have twelve large red swollen bee stings they itch more than painful
(I have about 200 bumble bees living in the soil/grass I have worked amonst them for the past three weeks no trouble, I reckon one must have got trapped under my shirt)

        Thanks

You work from the section NEXT to the one you are glazing. You lay the panel, fix the glazing strip then move up a section and repeat.
