    To think I used to walk the streets going to cubs in the 50s proudly wearing a knife like yours Selleri attached to my cub belt. Then the games we played with them going home would have me arrested today.

      I still have a sheath knife my Father gave me when I was about 10 yrs old.
      he got it when he was a kid from a scout master, its a Wade and Butcher with the word Gillwell engraved on the blade.
      I think Gillwell is where the first scout camps were set up early in the 20th century.

        Gillwell Park is still owned by the Scout Association.
        The troop I was with went camping there in the 70s, bit too organised for my liking, even back then.

            The sheath Knife I have is probably over a 100yrs old.

              Stanley type knives are less than 4 inches, can do a hell of a lot of damage with one of those.
              I think it just proves you cant legislate about the article, its the person using it that is the problem, but the law, as usual doesn't have a clue.
